Brendan Daly is a sophomore at St. Sebastian's School in Needham, MA. While heavily involved in sports - football, hockey and baseball - Brendan also realizes the importance of taking time to focus on others by volunteering and serving his local community. He is a leader in his school program to support the underprivileged students attending the San Miguel School in Rhode Island - a day school in one of the poorer neighborhoods in Providence. He works with classmates, friends and family to collect and stuff backpacks with a multitude of useful items for the young boys of San Miguel, and goes above and beyond to encourage donations from the community. As part of the program, he learns more about the lives of the students in Providence and strives to form a tight bond between the schools that allows both communities to learn from one another

Outside of school, Brendan works for a local produce farm and enjoys reading, creative writing, fishing, video games and hitting the gym.

Daniel Feldman is President of Peer Partners, a youth volunteer organization that advocates for the prevention of hunger, illiteracy, homelessness and birth defects, actively supporting disaster relief efforts and initiatives inspiring kindness.

He not only raises funds and organizes food collections to feed food insecure youth year round but also strives to educate and encourage youth to lead healthy lifestyles by including nutrition and exercise in their everyday routines.

With the support of his community, he has raised over $90,000 and has encouraged thousands of pounds of food donations for the local food bank. Daniel is also an Executive Board Member for Youth Service America and serves on the Advancement Council for Share Our Strength’s Great American Bake Sale. He is the 2009 recipient of the Sodexo ‘Stop Hunger’ Award and 2005 recipient of the Share Our Strength Leadership Award.

Jaime LeQuin is an honors student in Northern California. As a member of her school’s leadership program for 5 years, she is a member of the Safe Rides organization, volunteers at the senior center, and runs the school food drive initiative.

Outside of school she also volunteers with her church to bring food to needy children in impoverished areas of the city and makes blankets for the local women’s center.

When she isn’t taking on a new service activity you can find her swimming laps as part of two local swim teams, traveling with her parents and younger sister or at AT&T Park rooting for the San Francisco Giants.

She hopes to attend Northeastern University and, after graduation, plans to focus her work on tackling issues important to girls and teens as part of a publishing career.

Nicole Muller is a senior honors student at Western Albemarle High School in Charlottesville, VA. Last year she founded a food drive called Neighbors-4-Neighbors to help her local food bank and then decided to take her campaign nationally.  Nicole has inspired hundreds of people to help gather food donations, run food drives nationally and also donate virtually to their local food bank. Known locally as the "Food Girl" she was chosen to do a PSA for the local Food bank. This year she is even expanding her efforts and hopes to involve every high school and elementary school in her area in a hunger-relief program.

When Nicole takes a little time for herself, she loves to get into a good book or hang out with her close friends and family. She is heading off to college in 2011 and after completion hopes to start a career in TV production.
