This is the 26th year that the Kansas City St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee and Price Chopper have sponsored the “Go for The Green” Food Drive. 

The Food Drive gives local area schools the chance to raise money in a competition that is supported by the community in a unique manner too! Locals can support their school by donating at any area Price Choppers (where they have collection bins set up) at the local school or through an online virtual food drive.  

All donations support Harvesters - The Community Food Network and the winning school receives:

• Go for the Green Winning Trophy
• A free entry into the 2012 St. Patrick's Day Parade
• The chance to host the 2012 Go for the Green Kick-Off Party
