At Coyle and Cassidy High School they take their school motto "Enter to Learn - Leave to Serve" seriously. For almost 18 years, the school has contributed in a BIG way to local hunger-relief efforts by running a food pantry right in the school.  

Because of the efforts of student leaders, the pantry provides about 300 bags of groceries a month to local families in need.  Although everyone in the Coyle and Cassidy school community contributes to the pantry, the students are in charge of raising money, stocking shelves, bagging groceries, and greeting the families during distribution each month. 

Here at Schools Serve we think it is beyond great that they turned their school food drive into a year-round learning experience for the students and valuable resource for the community.  Bravo!
