Schools Fight Hunger is partnering up with ConAgra Foods this fall to involve schools across the country in the fight against child hunger. We know tens of thousands of schools give back to their community by running food drives every year. This fall, every school can up the impact of their drive by getting involved with Child Hunger Ends Here. Not only will you donate food to your local pantry or food bank, but for every UPC collected, ConAgra Foods will donate a meal to Feeding America. Talk about making your school efforts really add up!
Get started by requesting a free food drive and UPC collection planning kit. Then kick off your drive and start making a BIG difference in your community. Schools that get involved will be entered to win great school prizes.
Participating in the program is easy!
Here's how:

*For every UPC collected by schools through 12/31/11, a monetary donation will be made enabling one meal to be secured by Feeding America on behalf of local food banks, up to a maximum of 2 million meals for codes received by 1/12/12. ConAgra Foods will help provide up to 5 million meals to Feeding America during the 2011-12 school year (9/1/11-5/31/12). Valid in U.S. only. $1 donated = 8 meals secured by Feeding America on behalf of local food banks.
**Open to accredited K-12 schools located within the 50 U.S. and DC. Void where prohibited. Begins 9/1/11 and ends 12/31/11. To enter, turn in participating ConAgra Foods, Inc., product UPC codes to your Sponsor-approved Eligible School's Child Hunger Ends Here Coordinator OR to your participating Eligible School's collection during the Program Period. Paris Middle School collected 1,883 non perishable food items during the period of November 7-17. The items were taken to our local food pantry. We also collected $284 for the Guardian Angel Program, which helps families in our community during the Christmas season.
